!!!LET'S GO!!!

Hello my fellow Biggest Loser competitors!  Sorry it's taken me all week to get back to you!  I've had the blog up and going.....but nothing on it to look at but the title!!!  I'm finishing up some last weigh-ins and collecting money today and then I will email you individually your number for this competition.  Again, I've just been waiting to get a few more people weighed in.

So, what I need from you.....will EVERYONE please email me your email address.  Even if you think I have it, will you please email me just so I don't have to go searching for it!  :)  I need your email addresses for two reasons: 1.) I will add everyone to this blog as a "contributor".  That way anyone can get on and post on the blog.  Anything positive, motivating, funny, recipe, tell us how they're doing that week, etc.  2.) I will email you your number, which is your name in the competition.

As you can see from how the blog is set up, every one's original weight with their assigned number will always remain in the column to the right.  The column to the left will be updated each week with every one's percentage lost for the week.

So, here we go!!!!  Here's to better eating and exercising habits, better health, better us, and of course a little competition to keep us all motivated to do so!!!!  :)

I also just wanted to mention that since Angela and I are the ones that put this competition together and weighed everyone in, we also weighed-in in front of people as they came to weigh in at our houses so that we weren't weighing each other in and to keep everything fair.  So, game on everyone!!!  If you've never played games (i.e. Settlers) or sports with Angela.....you may have never seen the competitive side of us.  WATCH OUT!!!  We're both a bit competitive!!!  But, we must all be a little competitive or like the competitive nature for motivation or we wouldn't have done this competition!!!  :)

Biggest Loser original email and rules

Hey everyone! 

So, I have been throwing around an idea since before Christmas, about starting a friendly competition of the BIGGEST LOSER with family and friends here in Kimberly/Twin Falls.
ANYONE is welcome to join!!! So please let any family or friends that would like to join in know that they are welcome to as well!

Please don't think because I am forwarding this email to you that I think you need to lose weight!!!!!! I am seriously sending this out to all my FB friends in Twin Falls/Kimberly. So, don't feel like I'm sending this to you because I think you need to lose weight!!!

We are just spreading the news.......the more the merrier so pass it on to anyone you think might want to join in. I could definitely use a little motivation to fit in to my jeans that are a little...ok A LOT too snug.
The competition will start on Monday, January 21st (as in this coming Monday, so spread the word fast!!!) and will end on April 29th. That's 3 months...of fun and weight loss! (So be ready to get those skinny jeans....or by April 29th, those skinny shorts and capris, out!!!) I will be calculating weight loss by your total percentage loss, not by pounds.

To join it will be $20. All the money will go into a big "pot". Depending on how many people join, I will split the money up so that there are 3 winners at the end of the 3 months... 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The rules are:

1.) FIRST & LAST weigh-ins required!!!
***First weigh in times and location options:
---At Haylee Mollerup's home on Monday, January 21st from 9 a.m. until noon.
---At Angela Okelberry's home on Tuesday, January 22nd from 9 a.m. until noon.
---At Haylee Mollerup's home on Tuesday, January 22nd from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. AND from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
***NOTE: We will all be "named" by numbers, not our names, so if you're uncomfortable with everyone knowing your weight, you won't have to worry about that! Angela Okelberry and I will be the only two that will know everyone's weights.

2.) LAST WEIGH IN: dates and times will be announced as we draw closer to that time.
3.) Money is due at time of weigh-in to be part of the competition.
4.)No extreme diet pills, pregnant when competition starts and not pregnant when it ends, weight loss surgeries or amputations. haha.
5.) Must email me (hayleemollerup@gmail.com) or text me (421-1232) every Monday morning with your new weight.
6.) Be honest.
7.) And have fun while losing weight and getting healthier!!!!

We would like to have AT LEAST 15-20 people in the competition to make it "worth it" with prizes for incentive and motivation. So spread the word to any friends or family you'd like! I am not facebook friends with everyone and I don't have everyone's email addresses, so check who is and is not on the list that you may know and pass this along!!!

I would like to start a blog for our competition!!! This blog will be open for everyone joining the 'Biggest Loser'. You will be able to post your own entries on the blog. You may post healthy tips and healthy recipes to share with everyone. You may share anything you want that pertains to weight loss, exercise and life style changes.You may even post how you are feeling and doing during the day/week. Pictures and comics of weight loss are fun to post. Anything motivating and positive to help others keep going would be great! If you would like to post a before and after picture of yourself, that's great too.
I want to post everyone's weights and percentages every Monday on the blog, however, like I mentioned earlier, we will all be a NUMBER not a name so that no one feels uncomfortable with their name and weight posted each week. But, this will help everyone see what place they are in and how much everyone else is losing during the week.
I am excited to do this! I really want to lose this baby weight and learn to make healthier eating habits part of my lifestyle and not just do a short-term diet plan!

We want to make sure we get enough participation to do the competition before weigh-ins start on Monday!!!!! ***
